In honor of Grace Hopper’s birthday, NIU is exploring the past and future of computing. Join computer scientists across multiple disciplines from Argonne National Laboratory to see what’s new and what’s next in areas such as data visualization, cyber security and super computers. Then, hear from a panel of science fiction authors sharing their hopes and anxieties and the story-starters they’ve brainstormed based on the scientists’ talks.
